The Heart Chakra
°Heart Chakra ~ The Anāhata Chakra is one of the most beautiful & richest Chakras & invites us to dwell longer in its inexhaustible treasures of delightful feelings & experiences. It is located in the region of the heart, in the centre of the chest & this is why it is also known as the Heart Centre. It is not without reason that the heart is regarded as the symbol of love, for the Anāhata Chakra is the seat of love.
The Root Chakra
°Root Chakra ~ Just as the womb of the mother creates the basic requirement for the growth of the embryo, the Root Chakra (Mūlādhāra Chakra in Sanskrit) forms the basis & the starting point for our spiritual development. It is the foundation from which we climb the ladder of the Chakras; the root from which we receive the nourishment for our spiritual development. For this reason & because it lies at the lowest point of the spinal column below the Coccyx, it bears the name “Root Chakra”.
The Throat Chakra
°Throat Chakra ~ The Throat Chakra is a centre of physical & spiritual purification. The Vishuddha Chakra is a place of purification & balancing. The breath that flows through the throat & therefore through this Chakra, plays a big role in this. Through the power of the breath in the Vishuddha Chakra harmful residues are removed from the body on a physical level & in the mental sphere the thoughts emotions, consciousness & subconscious are purified & harmonized.
The Crown Chakra
°Crown Chakra ~ The Crown Chakra (Sahasrāra Chakra in Sanskrit) is located on the crown of the head beneath the Fontanelle, which is easily visible in a new-born child. It is also known as the Thousand-petalled Lotus, Brahmrandhra (door to Brahma) & Source of Light (because a supernatural light as bright as the sun radiates from it).
