278K views · 1.8K reactions | Mini Gnome DIY | Wait until you see what we crafted up with these mini tree ornaments from Hobby Lobby! So so sweet! 🤗❤️🎄 #inspire #christmasiscoming #Christmas... | By Gnome & Backyard | Hi everyone it's Lee from Gnome and Backyard and I wanted to show you a cute quick little craft with these Hobby Lobby mini Christmas trees I'm loving them and they are actually all 50% off right now so the first thing we're going to do is you could see these Christmas trees are like green wire they are glittered I love them they're just so adorable and I love the fact that they're minis too we're going to just take some different ribbons or accents and we're going to wrap it a the base of our trees. So for the first one there you saw I used like a gold lace. For this one I'm using a gold tinsel. And I am just hot gluing them around the base of my trees. Um like I said just to cover up we want to cover up that little bottom section and you'll see why in a minute. Now this one I'm actually taking some green yarn and I'm stuffing it all the way in the tree. I thought that would be fun to still see the green glitter wire the outside with the green yarn on the inside and it actually looks like a sweet tree so I'm loving that that's what we did different with this one and then for the last one I'm not sure I don't know I think I'm going to let it go right now next thing we're going to do is we are grabbing some small pieces of faux fur in assorted colors we're just putting a dab of hot glue and wrapping the fur around itself now these pieces are not big at all you can see they might be one inch by four inches and we're just wrapping them around themselves making a cute little fur ball I guess you'd call it and you could see we have a natural color a white and a gray and then I'm not sure for the last one I think I'm going to let that go for a minute so all I'm going to do is put some hot glue on the very top of my fur there and then place it into the Christmas tree and yes those are Christmas tree hats for sweet little mini gnomes that we could use on our Christmas trees we can put magnets on them put them on the refrigerator we can put ribbon on them and use them as a hang tag on a present they are just oh so sweet and I love how that little Christmas tree is the hat now for this last one I'm going to take this white fur that has some black tipping on it and I'm actually just going to take that fur and just spin it right up into the top of that hat so now it looks like a white tree and there's the beard down the bottom oh my goodness I'm loving the they are just too sweet. So, let's go into our nose stash and see what we can find. I'm going to use the smallest little furniture plugs that I have. These are from Hobby Lobby also and they are going to be the perfect size for some gnome noses and I love this container from Dollar Tree that we keep all of our noses in. So now, we're just going to take some hot glue and put it on the bottom, the flat part of our furniture button and then just secure it right there underneath our gnomes hat where the hat meets the beard and guys look at how cute these are I just love them they're adorable and you know my favorite part of any gnome craft is adding the nose so again these little Christmas tree ornaments are in the mini section at Hobby Lobby they are 50% off you can put a ribbon through the top to hang them you can put a magnet on the back but I really do hope you get the chance to craft some of these up for yourself thank you so much for continuing to sprinkle all of Gnome and Backyard's videos.

. | Grab your Dollar Tree Shower Caddy’s NOW! This is definitely one Christmas craft you don’t want to miss out on! 🤗❤️🎅🏻 #gnomeandbackyard #woodwork... | By Gnome & Backyard | Hi, everyone. It's Lee here at Gnome and Backyard and we did do this shower caddy gnome on a live but so many of you were asking for just a quick video of it so here you go. All we took was one of these shower caddies from the Dollar Tree and then we took two of the Dollar Tree mop heads. So, all you're going to do is pull your strands out of the mop head and then you are going to fold your strand in half, put it over the bar the bottom bar is where we're starting for this put it over the bottom bar and then loop your two ends right through and you are going to want to continue doing this and filling it as tight and full as you would like to so that your gnome has a very fluffy beard so we are starting at the bottom of the shower caddy we are going all the way around the sides and across the front. We are just going to repeat this with our mop strands until we have the entire bottom row filled. Once we have the bottom row filled we are now going to go to the bar right above that and do the exact same thing you do want to keep pushing your strands close to one another again so that you have a very nice full beard this project really does not take a lot of time and it is very simple it would actually be something fun to do with the kids or grand kids and again we just used $1 Tree Shower Caddy and $2 Tree mops you will also need a Santa hat which you can get at the Dollar Tree and then something for a nose whether use a Styrofoam ball for a nose a ping pong ball or a wooden bead for nose it's all up to you but you really do not need a lot of items for this project so now we are doing the third bar again filling the sides going around the sides and across the front another option for your beard when you are done if you would actually like to unravel these mop head strands you can and your beard would be even fluffier I however really like the way this finished product looked leaving the strands just the way they are they look like big strands of spaghetti and I actually like this look for my gnome you can also make a Santa and for that you would probably just place the nose a little bit further down not right under the brim of the at. Again, it's up to you whether you choose to unfurl these or leave them the strands the way they are. You can also use yarn if you have yarn at home and did not want to grab the mops from the Dollar Tree. Now, we are just finishing up that fourth top row and our beard is complete. Next I did grab a Santa hat from the Dollar Tree I do like the hats they have this year they have some really nice hats this hat in particular just reminds me of a Christmas sweater the colors are great the red the cream and the gray and I love the little reindeer and the trees on this hat and it is almost like a sweater knit fabric so all you're going to do is pull it down right over the top of your shower caddy it's that simple I am going to attach my hat with a little bead of hot glue right underneath the fur and then just press it down right onto the strands of the mop and it will hold and stay secure and these hats actually fit perfectly on the shower caddies from the Dollar Tree I'm not even going to put any glue on the back. It does not need that. I will flip this over though just to show you what the back looks like. And now, all we really need to do is add a nose. So, for my nose, I chose to use one of the styrofoam balls from the Dollar Tree. I believe they are six or eight in a pack for a dollar and I am just going to paint it with some tan acrylic paint. I am using one of my sponges to sponge the paint on. I find it much easier than using a brush when I am dealing with these styrofoam balls. After my paint is dry, I am just going to attach this right underneath the brim of my hat with my hot glue. And there you have it, this guy is just absolutely adorable. Now, what's awesome about this craft is he actually sits up on his own and you can use him as a shelf sitter or you can just hang him on a door. If you like this quick video, please pass it along to your Facebook family and friends and thank you so much for continuing to support Gnome and Backyard. Have a fabulous holiday.

617K views · 6.5K reactions | DIY water bottle gnome!🤍 | By Barefoot & Freckled, LLC | Let's make this cute little guy using an empty water bottle. You can also use a coffee creamer bottle. I'm going to start this project by adding some weight. I'm going to be using rice but you can use anything that you have on hand. Next, I'm going to take some faux fur and place that about a fourth of the way down the bottle and then I'm going to measure and cut that fur to be the same length as the bottle. I'm going to glue that fur on by using tacky glue. You can also use something like super glue. Then, I cut out a piece of fabric. Mine is approximately 10 by 12 inches. This is go to be the floppy hat. I ironed out all the wrinkles and then folded that in half. Now I'm going to cut that fabric into a triangle shape. Now I'm going to do that by cutting from the bottom right corner to the top left corner. Using a straight edge and a rotary blade makes this really simple to cut. Now I'm just adding some glue so I can fold over that bottom piece and now I have a nice clean edge. Now I'm going to add some glue to the left side and fold that right side over. And right here I'm just trimming off that excess fabric. Now I'm going to that hat and place it on the gnome and once I have that in place, I'm going to hot glue on the wooden ball knob. Now that I have everything exactly where I want it, I'm going to flip the gnome over and tighten and glue that hat in place. I want to make sure that this hat stays flopped over so I'm going to hot glue that in place and then I'm going to add a bell to the tip of the hat. I also wanted this hat to have a cute little scrunched look so I scrunched up the fabric and then hot glue that in place as well. I just used my Fingers to form the mustache and use a little bit of hairspray to keep that in place. And here's what it looks like when it's all finished.
