T-Scrappy lines quilt by Linda Miller: "I'm pleased to have found a way that I like for using the bits left over from scrappy strip piecing."

T-Scrappy Lines

All done and I'll use a scrappy binding on this one. I'm always looking for ways to use scraps, so I'm pleased to have found a way that I like for using the bits left over from scrappy strip piecing. The next picture is a close-up so you can see some of the strips. Pictures & comments in Piecing 2015 Set 1.

This quilt is very appealing - soft colors and I think I'd back it in flannel. T- -Softly | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

All done :) Really nice change to work with these colors! Bias binding is in the blue and white check fabric used in some of the blocks. There are some pictures and comments on this quilt top during the construction of it, in the Piecing 2011, Set 2.

Neutral colors. Would like to make a white/off-white patchwork duvet cover like this.

Bex's Duvet

Bex's Duvet When you've got a Kiwi intern in the studio who keeps saying the word "duvet"... after a while it kind of sticks. "Bex how's your duvet coming along... I mean doona... damn it!" Bex has been working on this masterpiece for the last few months in between doing work for us. We all knew the result would be fantastic. And it was indeed. We just love the fact that she took a bunch of offcuts and scrap fabrics and turned them into something amazing. Bex arranging pieces Detail Nice…

Infinite Whispers by Jennifer Chon, 2014 | MQG Community

I created this quilt because my low volume scrap bin was overflowing. I love improv piecing. One afternoon, I began mindlessly piecing small scarps together and later found myself loving the end result. It's machine quilted but the small center circles are hand quilted. The lack of colors remind me of whispers so I named it Infinite Whispers. Shadow Hills , California, United States 54" x 63"
