What once was Cromwell's Tomb in Westminster Abbey - Cromwell had ruled in such grandeur,there was uncertainty about whether he would be a new 'Moses or new monarch'. Former burial place of Mary, Queen of Scots, in Peterborough Cathedral. After her execution at Fotheringay Castle, in accordance with a warrant signed by Queen Elizabeth I, Mary was interred here in 1587. Lady Frances Brandon’s tomb in Westminster Abbey Lady Frances Brandon, Duchess of Suffolk (lived 16 July 1517 – 20 November 1559) The daughter of Mary Tudor, Queen of France and Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk. In 1533, she was married to Henry Grey, Marquess of Dorset. Lady Jane Grey was one of her children.
