Bob and Dolores Hope's Estate Palm Springs, California Asking Price: $ 50 Million The California desert resort city of Palm Springs is famous for its drool-worthy modernist architecture, but iconic actor Bob Hope’s 23,000-square-foot estate has always stood out from the pack when it comes to unique aesthetic and wild design. The six-bedroom, 10-bathroom lair – designed by legendary architect John Lautner – officially hit the market last week.
On Sept. 12, 1963, 400 dignitaries came from all over the world to be part of the inaugural ride of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
