Last week my sister picked up a scrumptious yellow vintage sheet from the Goodwill for $3! I was so excited because she gave it to me. Once it was washed and laid out, I knew I wanted to make a simple skirt for Easter.

This lovely handmade, quilted pillow cover measures approximately 15.5 x 15.5 inches square. It will fit a pillow form that is 1-2 inches bigger or smaller than that depending on how puffy you want the pillow to be. It is made from a varied selection of pink, yellow, orange and green floral and striped vintage sheets in a half-square triangle pattern. What a week! I am only finally starting to feel relief from a terrible cold I've had all week. So glad, too, so that I can share my dress! Overall, I'm really pleased with how it came out. It was rather easy to put together, although there were a couple of fitting snags in the beginning. I used two pattern pieces to help me map it all out.
