They’re fudgy, sweet, ridiculously gooey and best of all?? They don’t taste like chickpeas (I promise!) Original creator was @jacsavagewellness and they went viral after her sister made them with Alix Earle… sooooo I had to try them!! Comment “blondies” and I’ll send the full recipe, macros, tips and tricks straight to your DMs! Can also search full recipe at https://basicswithbails.com/course/dessert/viral-chickpea-blondies/ INGREDIENTS - 1 can chickpeas (398mL) 1/3 cup cashew butter 1/2 cup sugar-free maple syrup (can also use regular maple syrup) 2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/3 cup almond flour 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips DIRECTIONS - 1) Heat your oven to 350°F and line a small baking dish with parchment paper. An 8x8 inch baking dish, bread loaf pan or round cake tin will all work for this recipe. 2) In a food processor, blend chickpeas, cashew butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until smooth. 3) Stir in almond flour until fully combined. Then fold in the chocolate chips. 4) Spread the batter into your prepared baking dish, sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top, and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden. 5) Let them cool for at least 10 minutes before adding them to the refrigerator for minimum 1 hour, preferably overnight. Then slice into squares.
