Project: Backyard walkway
This weekend Bear and I completed a project from start to finish. Can you believe it?! I know, I can't believe it either. But something I can't believe even more is that we didn't fight ONE TIME! Like the other stuff, everything is very cheap in Thailand. Rishab's uncle booked a 3 star hotel for us in Bangkok. When we first saw the place, we thought that maybe his uncle had misjudged us and thought of us as extremely rich people. The place was so classy and over the top, we were not used to such luxuries. The best part was that it was only 500 Baht per person per day!!!
Berry picking is always one of the highlights of our summer, along with the jam and pie making that follows. We have been blessed with a bounty of yummy fruits from the backyards of friends this season. These Queen Ann cherries were especially wonderful. We snacked on these right out of the bowl.
