In this section I will discuss how I would have went about building the DCEU film universe from the beginning if I was WB. I love almost every one of the DC movies thus far for different reasons but I think it could have been handled better by WB. The staple of DC superhero movies should be heart, well developed villains, and epic world building settings.
Phase 1...I chose to start with Wonder Woman first because Wonder Woman has never had a movie before and I think it would have been more interesting to audiences who might have Superman or Batman fatigue in 2013 when my DCEU would have launched.
Wonder Woman (2013). Villains: Ares, Dr. Poison. Wonder Woman plays out exactly how it did in the current version but without the mentions of Bruce Wayne at the beginning and end. This movie worked because they stayed true to who Diana is in the comics, and in my version of the DCEU every other character would as well. After Credit scene would be British forces uncovering a Motherbox from the battlefield.

What my DCEU film slate would have been

[FAN-CAST] Kristofer Hivju as Lobo. This cast makes so much sense. He has that devil may care attitude, the voice, stature, and chops to be the perfect Lobo
[FAN-CAST] Emilia Clarke as Kara El/Supergirl. Rumor is that WB is developing a Supergirl movie and wants her to have a very significant role in the DCEU moving forward. If Supergirl is getting her own movie then I think star power is needed and Emilia is definitely a huge star right now. She's a fantastic actress and I think could turn Kara into a Wonder Woman level icon and success.
[FAN-CAST] Matt Smith as The Riddler.
