Paper Bead Jewelry- French Dictionary Bead & Silver Hardware Earrings, Paper Bead Earrings, Paper Je
I created these paper bead earrings from beads that I made from a vintage French-English dictionary from 1930, and a couple of silver toned hex nuts. The paper beads are strung onto annealed steel wire. The earwires are silver plated. The earrings hang down about 1 1/2" from the earwires. Insanely Fun
Recently while wasting time gaining inspiration on Pinterest I came across a tutorial on how to create your own stencils with hot glue by Traci Bautista. I added it to my "to do" list. So yesterday I got out my hardly ever used glue gun and glue sticks. Here is the fabric I made today with my hot glue stencil. I love it. Here is my glue stencil. I created it on a piece of Reynold's Parchment Paper and it released right off the paper once the glue had cooled. I also did a small test on a…
Hot Glue Gun Masking and Stamping
I recently had a nice chat with lovely Lisa, the owner of That Craft Place store, and I mentioned a technique that included stencils made with the hot glue gun. She asked me if I would do a tutorial for her (and of course especially the readers and players over at her Natter&Chatter facebook group and the challenge blog). Well, actually it became a five-in-one tutorial as I couldn't stop experimenting once I had started - it is so much fun! The five tags shown below were made with simple and…
