Buff! One of my favorite things while on the Camino. Wore it around my neck almost every day, wore it bandita style when walking on cold mornings (I did learn to pull it down off my face when saying good morning to the old folks who sit and watch the pilgrims go by), also wore it bandita style to keep from breathing bugs during one particularly buggy afternoon, and wore it over my eyes at night whenever the albergue room lights didn't really go all the way out.
Reflections on the Camino de Santiago
Seven months ago I walked down a beach and into the Atlantic Ocean. That wouldn’t have been very exciting, had I not walked 865km across northern Spain to get there. That beach, in the small town of Finisterre, was where the road and my Camino ended. It’s taken this long to process the experience, and put fingers to keyboard to explain what it meant to me.
