This year, I have focused our first two weeks on really enforcing Visual Journal procedures. Yep, I said Visual Journals. I'm really trying to go away form using "sketchbook" as the term for them. From my three year experience teaching high school, I've noticed that my students really didn't seem to take the sketchbook seriously.
