Everybody has a deep longing to be seen. And God is the God of Seeing, El ROI. Hagar, a lonely, forgotten, and mistreated slave, gives this name (EL ROI) to God when he shows up to look for her when everyone treats her as if she is invisible. That same God who saw her sees you. Here are some truths to hold on to when we feel invisible, forgotten, lonely, and abandoned and how the God of Seeing, El Roi, sees and hears us.
