So, this journal didn't grow that big, after all. I really felt like wrapping it up, there was a strong sense of... fulfillment, so to say? All the works found their place inside the journal. I liked how they matched being paired up together and didn't want to drag it out anymore just to incorporate a couple of other old embroidery pieces that I didn't even have a vision for in this journal. Reporting on new embroidery journal pages! For the most part, I'm currently trying to incorporate my old works in this new journal and see what comes out. As of now, the majority of them have already found their places on the pages (literally *on* and not “in” because they are pretty much pasted on top of the pages :D), and only 2 pieces are left to include. I participated in the Crazy Quilt Journal Project 2012 and I decided that the crazy quilt block made each month would accompany and wherever possible highlight the events which were my life in 2012. All the pages were stitched into a fibre journal of 2012. I recycled fabric from laundry bags for the pages and the fabric of a pair of lightweight denim trousers was used to make the cover.
