the center step card is shown with measurements

I'm getting an early start on my holiday cards this year! This fun Center Step card is a mix of old and new Stampin' Up! products. One of my favorite features of this card is the snow piled up at the base of the card. I used my new Basic Borders dies for this. Here's the template for the Center Step Card. It starts with a half sheet of cardstock 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and the finished card fits into a standard A2 envelope. The Designer Paper is last season's Snowflake Splendor. Any DSP that you…

If you have ever made a side-step card, you know it’s a little time consuming for sure… lots of measurements, cuts and folds! Well, that is why I was so happy to see a simplified version of a side-step card created by another demonstrator! And of course, I knew I would use the Flowering Tulips ... Read more

And here is one of the cards we did this month at my Card Clubs. Soft Suede & Vanilla is such a gorgeous & rich color combo! It's hard to see, but we used the Champagne glitter from the Fine Galaxy glitter stack on the tree & snowflakes. I tried to get a good photo of this beautiful golden bronze glitter, but failed - take my word for it - it's amazing! Here's the template I made to help you...

-Due to the many requests I'm posting this tutorial. Thank you for the wonderful comments. This is the card that many requested measurements for. This particular Double Sided Step Card was designed for A7 envelopes. Since the writing space in the interior of the card is much less than usual I wanted to have it large enough so that a person could have enough space to write a little something. To begin with the best cardstock to use for the base of these kind of cards is heavyweight 100#…

three blue boxes are stacked on top of each other in the shape of a box

Today is my Dad's birthday, and here is the cool card (if I do say so myself) that I made him. It is a 5"x7" side step stair card, complete with a tutorial below. (You can see a few other A2 side stair examples here and here.) I really wanted to try the slightly larger size, and I LOVE the results. It is even easier to cut and to decorate. Begin with a 10"x7" card stock base. If you want to stamp your base, do this before cutting and scoring. Place a short side against the measuring edge of…
