Carrie Fisher's daughter has confirmed in a statement to People magazine that Fisher died Monday after suffering a heart attack mid-flight last week. Fans, of course, are shocked and deeply saddened by her death. In remembrance, we're sharing some of her iconic moments as Princess Leia in the Star Wars franchise. After hearing of Carrie Fisher's passing this week I wanted to share these concept paintings I did of Princess Leia back in 2010 for the video game Kinect Star Wars. The original purpose of these images was to help define the character style for the game, but now my purpose is to pay tribute to someone who embodied one of the most iconic female characters in film history.
