Rural planning masterplan

Rural Solutions wundertook the Strategic Masterplan for phased expansion of an established village. Early preparation of the initial proposals supported initial discussions with the Local Authority and engagement at community stakeholder events. Landscape constraints including flood zone, Public Rights of Way, views and established trees positively informed the design to ensure the site felt appropriate and established from the outset.

Rural Solutions provided a range of design services for this lakeside hotel, which is situated in one of the most challenging and highly sensitive landscapes in the UK. A site-wide landscape masterplan was developed which demonstrated how the exisiting and new elements of the project could be sympathetically combined. This subsequently supported a successful planning application.
