With vacation season ending, and back to school around the corner, this month’s palette explores colors for educational environments. Focusing on preschool and elementary school spaces, a palette of primary and secondary colors is our choice. With vacation season ending, and back to school around the corner, this month’s palette explores colors for educational environments. Focusing on preschool and elementary school spaces, a palette of primary and secondary colors is our choice.

What strikes me here is the use of clear labelling of the required colours right next to the logo, having the RGB, HEX, CYMK, PMS (spot colours) codes. As the style guild follows downward the palettes are directly placed next to the codes they represent, this allows an exaggerated focus on these aspects as it is very important to specify. They have then labelled their key primary and secondary colours. This provides a hierarchy to abide by when using these colours across media.
