I participated in the Everyday Plastic Survey in June 2020 and collected my plastic for a week. I found it useful to document the process throughout so I could identify where we could make changes as a household to reduce waste.

Getting used materials back to the recycler is the hard and expensive part of any program to recycle. Who collects and who pays for it to get back? Who sets up the required infrastructure for this? . Until those get solved it will be many years until reuse and recycle strategies are working efficiently.
