This Highland cow portrait was commissioned by my late mother-in-law, Steph, before she passed away. It looks strong, independant, and stoic, weathering harsh conditions. It also has a softness about it. Very much like a very, very missed friend. (paraphrased feedback from one of Steph's closest friends). I'm inclined to agree, it reminds me of her, in a strange way.
