I have been very fortunate in my travels this summer as the magical light has been a constant companion in my adventures. Colorado has entered its Monsoonal flow and the forests are starting to look like those in Washington State.

Outside the National Park, this incredibly dark, wet, silent forest will likely be logged to stumps before too much longer like so much of the Olympic Peninsula outside the scope of the park.

I looked through the window and I saw that everything was covered on fog. I got an idea to go to hyyppäänvuori, a local highground that has good view to the lake and what is surrounded by old forest, photograph a view with trees turning in to the autumn colors.
