If you're teaching elementary dance without training or experience, dance phrases (also called movement phrases) are a great tool for your dance lesson plans. Dance phrases are short and don't take too long to create or rehearse, which shortens the learning cycle and provides more opportunities for meaningful feedback. Dance phrases are frequently referenced in the Ontario Dance Curriculum.
