The Good Genes store in Amsterdam utilized signage by way of chalkboard drawings. Their branding is to emphasize slow fashion while being home grown and rustic. This chalkboard display breaks down the components of the denim. This with the "workshop" display in front of it makes the consumer understand that this is not a fashion fashion brand, but one that puts thought and love into the products they create.
