Dance is a sport

Dancing is so a sport :)

People always say dance isn't a sport but this really proves how much work dance it is

But we have to make it an art, by telling a story, making the movements seem flawless. Yes when people are playing sports on a field you might thing "oh that must have been hard" or "that hurt" but with dance people think "oh that must have been easy to learn" "that looks like it is so light and dainty". Be in a ballerina's shoes for a day, tell me how it feels. We as dancers have to be an athlete, but make it an art.
