Cupcake cards

Hi Stamping Friends! Well, I've been on a quest to make lots of birthday cards for Goodies Cookies (the cute, little bakery that sells my cards for me). It's so much easier to come up with one design and make a few of the same card. Some cards are definitely one-of-a-kind originals, like the ones I make for the ColourQ Challenge, or the Stampin' Celebration Challenge. But if I can get on a roll, I can make 6 or 8 of the same card. Saves me a ton of time! And yes, I usually always make…

"A paper napkin provided the yummy looking cupcake motifs for this card. Since one napkin can go a long way, you can make a set of these cards while you are at it and always have cards on hand when you need them. A die cutting machine is helpful in making this card to cut the words out and emboss paper for the blocks. If you do not have a machine, you can also use sticker words or letters and textured paper instead."

This was so fun to make! I used the large falling snow stencil to create the confetti by pushing different color distress ink thru the stencil. I die cut each cupcake from white cardstock and then colored then using distress oxide inks with a foam dauber. I die cut the words Happy Birthday about 3 times out of heavier cardstock and glued together and mounted across the cupcakes. I then added a white embossed sentiment and called it a day!
