I adore this stitch for many projects, including scarves and blankets, but in this case, I used it for finishing the cuff of a sleeve. 🤗

6.6K views · 129 reactions | Every time we start a sleeve cuff, many of us wonder how to make decreases evenly for a professional look. 🤯 Here’s the method I use for my sweaters using 2 fpdc, 2 bpdc ribbing. 🫶🏻👌 ‼️When you reach the necessary sleeve length and are ready to start your cuff, work the first row as follows: *2 fpdc around 2 dc x 2 times, 2 bpdc around 1 dc x 2 times, repeat from * till the end. Work all other rounds as usual: 2 fpdc, 2 bpdc. This method ensures even decreases and a neater finish. 😃🧶 🧤Support Glove find under the link in my bio @themailodesign or send me a direct message, and I will send you the link 🧤 Happy Crocheting, Love You All, Lena ❤️ | TheMailoDesign | Laid Back · Sunshine Reggae Crazy Crochet, Sleeve Cuff, Till The End, Professional Look, Look Here, Love You All, Sweater Sleeves, Crochet Sweater, Crochet Patterns

This method is easy and effective! 🤗

‼️Before you start making the cuff, make decreases in the last two rows. I usually decrease every 5th double crochet stitch to make the sleeve look more elegant.

Start making the cuff:

✅Chain 10, starting from the 2nd chain from the hook, work *9 single crochet to the end, then make 2 slip stitches to connect the cuff.

✅Turn, and starting from the 3rd stitch from the hook, single crochet in the back loop only until the end.
✅Chain 1, and repeat from * across the entire sleeve.
