Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) is an excruciatingly painful, but little known neurological syndrome. The inspiration for this infographic stems from my sister who suffers from CRPS. It is disheartening when people pass by her thinking "she does not look sick" when in reality she is in constant pain. Please feel free to share this and spread awareness!
Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS): a chronic pain condition. Causes intense pain, usually in the arms, hands, legs, or feet. May happen after an injury, either to a nerve or to tissue in the affected area. Rest and time may only make it worse.
