Made using 8mm black square braided leather rope. It was prepped for painting with acetone. Then airbrushed using Angelus metallic leather paint. It has a bronze base with a gold topcoat, and 2 coats of Angelus acrylic finisher. The rope tips are cold-cast with brass powder, buffed to shine, dry-brushed with gold paint and weathered with watered-down reddish-brown acrylic. I think it’s about as screen accurate I can get without knowing exactly how the original was made.
