The first thing people say when they walk into the living area is that they love this ceiling! Stained knotty pine tongue and groove - gorgeous! White shiplap walls, linen color furnishings and mixed wood colors throughout make this the perfect design pallet for our family! The open concept is a bonus!

The original ceiling was from the 1960's. We removed it all, used brackets and 2x4's to drop the ceiling 2 inches, built the frames from 1x6's and used drywall for the ceiling tiles. They can be pushed up and slid over to access the ceiling cavity. We also replaced florescent tube lighting with led lighting on dimmers.
