This was our guest room before our daughter was born. We only have two bedrooms, so the minute we found out I was pregnant with a girl, I was racking my brain on how to keep the guest bedroom option but also give her a beautiful nursery. If only the universe were a little more accommodating, every time you added a new person to your family, a new room would magically be added to your abode. Alas, it is not so. But the good news is that, for a while at least, tiny people do not take up very much space, so in the same way that you can morph part of a living room into a home office or a closet into a (grown-up) bedroom, you can carve out a spot for your little one.
