Turner Field: Home of the Braves
Turner Field has served as home of the Atlanta Braves since 1997. Originally the Olympic Stadium for the 1996 Games in Atlanta, Turner Field underwent a large renovation to fit a baseball field, where lots of history has been made.
1996 Olympic Torch
I was a volunteer at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. I took this one night before I left for home. We hated the design of the torch, all us volunteers joked about it and named it "the flaming french fry box" since it looked like a burning box of McDonalds french fries.
