Crocus tommasinianus Roseus
Crocus tommasinianus Roseus--Roseus crocus has graceful six-petaled, 4” tall flowers that open and close on sunny days, and grass-like foliage. It has a finely reticulated tunic. Deer-resistant, they naturalize readily in well-draining soil and in full to partial sunlight. Recently, it’s been said that squirrels do not like to dig up newly planted C. tommasinianus hybrids for snacks or transplant.
