Tips on adjusting your clothing to help deal with the pain of chronic illnesses, including fibromyalgia. Clothing, in general is painful for me. Bras, waistbands on jeans, even wearing shoes can hurt. I hope sharing this can help some others who are hurting.
Disease & Illness April 10, 2013 Study suggests fibromyalgia pain is caused by small fiber neuropathy: An intriguing study done in the University of Würzburg and published in Brain march 9, 2013 indicates fibromyalgia pain is due to small fiber neuropathy........ if future research in this area indicates fibromyalgia indeed has small fiber neuropathy at the very least people with FM will have the very nature of their pain validated......
MYTH: People Who Take Pain Medication Become Addicts FACT: Most people who take medication to control chronic pain do not become addicted to it. Some pain medications, such as opiates (narcotics), can be addictive, but needing opiates to treat physical pain is different from the compulsive craving and use of a drug in addiction.
Update: 2013 Drug Outlook for Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome By Adrienne Dellwo (November 28, 2013) Will we see new drugs for either fibromyalgia (FMS) and chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) in 2013? It's possible we'll see the first-ever drug approved for ME/CFS, as well as an off-label treatment for both conditions.
