Put all the crayons in travel soap boxes, holds 12 crayons. Students collect these tubs when crayons are needed for an activity. She uses the pencil boxes students bring to house markers and scissors, those are also only collected by students when the activity is necessary. Lots more good ideas.

Everyone gets a soap box with crayons and keep them in a community tub for each table. I like this because it probably can hold fat crayons easier. I'm sick of fights over crayon!

I like this set up for the desks in the classroom because none of the desks are side by side, allowing each student have their own personal space.  When desks are side by side, or students share table space, it is much easier for bickering to occur over one's personal space.
