The way it works is that when I need the class to quiet down, I start counting backwards from five: If I get to and there is even one student talking, I get the tally point. If the entire class is quiet, they get the point.
Task This aligns with the second task because it gives students more value to what they are learning if they get to chose it. Genius hour allows students to explore their interests and possibly relate it to school content.
