Ge'ez language is an ancient South Semitic language that originated in Eritrea and the northern region of Ethiopia in the Horn of Africa. It later became the official language of the Kingdom of Aksum and Ethiopian imperial court.
The Ugaritic script is a cuneiform used from around 1400 BC to write Canaanite language was discovered in Ugarit (modern Ras Shamra), Syria It has 30 letters. Other languages (particularly Hurrian) were occasionally written in the Ugaritic script.
