Ron Kovic:Army-volunteered for first tour to Vietnam in 1965/he also volunteered for a second tour in 1968. He was shot in attack and as a result of his injuries left paralyzed from the chest down. Received a Bronze Star with V for valor and Purple Heart. They based a movie on the book he wrote.
