I found this diy/hack on Pinterest and decided to give it a shot. It really works and an added bonus I've saved a lot of money by just doing it at home instead of going to Kay's jewelry. I think it is well worth the time and I'm so happy I found this. I hope you enjoy this hack as much as I do.

Ok, so after my husband proposed I cleaned my ring DAILY. I mean, with my toothbrush, WHILE brushing my teeth. Gross, but we've all done it and maybe still do. Which I hear toothpaste is abrasive and not good to do, but I was desperate for that sparkle. Then moved on to gimmicky ring cleaners and ultrasonic machines, you name it. I may have even purchased a few things from the kiosk guy in the mall? I'll never admit it. But nothing really gave it that, 'I JUST GOT ENGAGED!!' glisten…

BLING WASH

How to make your rings glisten: windex, couple drops Dawn dish soap, microwave in glass bowl for 1 min (mixture will be very hot) let jewelry soak for at least min, then give scrubbing with soft toothbrush, rinse with lukewarm water.

Ring cleaner - really works

I have tried this ring cleaner multiple times. My ring is white gold and has one large diamond and tiny diamond "dustlets" along the band. This cleaning solution cleans my ring better than the ones purchased at retail stores! I highly recommend it.

I made this solution last night (had to omit baking soda because I'm out of it) to clean some heavily tarnished silver earrings. It worked like a champ! My earrings almost brand new and I didn't have to spend a dime!
