I believe these are Dahlias...I planted these flowers in my flower pot and sprayed deer repellent to keep them away all the way to the point of the buds showing. I had to go out of town but asked hubby to keep spraying - he missed a few days. When I asked if they bloomed he said the deer ate every last bud...never did see what floral delight the Dahlia would have shown...Hope to see it this year!!!
