This is a set of reading decoding strategy posters to help young reader's decode unfamiliar words. They are ink friendly and would make a great display for your classroom or you can print them smaller (4 to a page) and place on a ring to use in your guided reading groups. I've also included a reading strategy book mark to give to your students.
These go well with Phonics Blitz/Boost. The Classroom Key: Kid-Friendly Syllable Rules
I plan to use these in my 1st graders fluency book bags which go home each week with leveled readers so parents/students have a reading strategy resource right at their fingertips.
The Black Cat by Edgar Allan Poe: Adapted Text, First Person Point of View
This graphic organizer is a perfect handout to have near by. You can print out a copy for a student use as a resource or print it out on legal paper to use as a classroom poster. The amount of uses are endless. I use it during my guided reading groups and choose a different strategy to focus on during their lesson. Thanks for the download and please leave any feedback you may have for me!
