Tar Heel BBQ Sauce ~ Yield: Makes About 5 cups, Ingredients: 1 quart cider vinega,r 1/4 pound melted butter, 1/3 cup onion minced, 1/3 cup tomato paste, 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon black pepper fresh ground. Preparation: Mix the ingredients together in a sauce pan over a low heat. Stir and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Use as a basting sauce for grilled or smoked meats and as a dipping sauce when serving the meats.
