BIRDS: The Golden Eagle. The Golden Eagle is one of the best-known birds of prey in the Northern Hemisphere. It is the most widely distributed species of eagle. Like all eagles, it belongs to the family Accipitridae.

The Grey Eagle (Harpyhaliaetus coronatus) [Águia Cinzentais] An Eagle  which occurs from Argentina to Bolivia and generally in central Brazil . Although called an eagle, it is actually a large hawk.  It lurks high in treetop branches. Flies over footpaths and riparian forests.
