You've heard the classics–Bloody Mary, the Boogeyman, the Baby Sitter and the Man Upstairs. The legend of “Cropsey” turns out to be the true story of a child-killer named Andre Rand, who hid out in the abandoned Willowbrook Mental Hospital in Staten Island, NY, and came out at night to snatch children off the streets. Most people thought it was an urban legend, until the summer of 1987 when a 13-year-old girl disappeared from her neighborhood. Five weeks later, she was found buried in a shallow grave on the grounds of Willowbrook., and four more children followed in her footsteps.
