We have received more than 160 pictures and hundreds of votes which resulted in this awesome list. We added a couple of our own pictures, and made the final list. Did we miss any? The grandchildren of Sardar Patel feel very proud today as the "Statue of Unity" was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Gujarat's Kevadiya. Gujarat chief minister called it a tribute by PM Modi to Sardar Patel, the architect of modern India, through the 182-metre-tall statue, the world's largest.

Bigger is always better, especially when building sky-grazing statues that tower over everything in sight. Here are some of the most massive monuments alongside the tiny humans visiting them.
