Gilli Danda: The longer stick is the Danda, & the shorter one tapered at two ends is the gilli. The gilli is kept over a hole-its diameter less than the length of the gilli-which is dug in the ground. The danda is then levered from the hole to eject the gilli as far as you can.When it falls on the ground, the danda is used to hit the gilli at the tapered ends to make it skim through the air & manouvered towards the hole. Players try to catch the gilli whenever it is in the air to get you out.
