Waves crash over the harbour at Porthcawl on November 19, 2009 in Porthcawl, Wales. The UK is currently braced for more severe weather today with almost 100 flood warnings and watches in place across the the Midlands, the North West, North East and Wales. The Met Office has put out a severe weather warnings with 'very heavy rain' expected over Cumbria, western parts of Scotland and north Wales and forecasts of torrential rain and gales of up to 70mph.

Ocean's Fury Sometimes mother nature lets you know who's in charge. The conditions at Portland Head Light yesterday were pretty amazing for photography. Winter Storm Riley gave us some incredible surf, and Fort Williams was filled with people wanting to see the action. Huge waves would roll in and crash against the rocks, sending spray flying into the air. The seagulls didn't seem to mind though. It was really something else to experience in person!
