Another fun Christmas enrichment idea for your small pets this Christmas. These Hessian Christmas Parcels are a little different, but a fun enrichment activity that your small pets will love. • Cut two pieces of 100% natural hessian fabric into a square • Taking a large eye sewing needle and jute twine (with a large knot in the end) sew the two pieces of fabric together, leaving an opening at the top • Turn inside out, then sew a gathering stitch along the top opening, making sure not to sew the two pieces of fabric together • Fill with hay, daily nuggets and berry loops • Then pull the two pieces of twine to close the top, tie and trim off any excess twine • And enjoy! 🎄 Always remember to supervise your pets when using jute twine.

DIY Enrichment for Rabbits and Guinea Pigs | Rabbit Diet | Petcare | Vegetables | Natural Foraging
Enrichment activities are a great way to not only keep our small pets entertained but to also promote natural foraging behaviours too. In the wild rabbits won't always be eating directly from the ground with their heads down as they will also reach up to eat from a more upright stance to reach different plants. This washing line enrichment activity is perfect for promoting these behaviours and all you need is some jute twine, wooden pegs and your rabbits' favourite veggies.
