I can close my eyes and be in Dublin, walking through St. Stephen's Green, wandering in and out of bookshops or enjoying a glass of Guinness with family and friends. Emma Sharpe, my fictional FBI agent in SAINT'S GATE and HERON'S COVE, spent a year in Dublin with her grandfather, a renowned art detective.

I got to see the Book of Kells in person where it’s housed in the Trinity College Library in Dublin. The Book of Kells, an illuminated manuscript, is a copy of the four Gospels in Latin.
