This book can help students understand what the term balance means, the book is about balnce and relative size. The birds in the book found a tree and have decided to land on the tree, the pictures in the book help the readers visually see how the birds find the perfect balance so they can all fit perfectly. It is for ages 3-5, grades Preschool-KinderKindergarten!
This book can help readers understand what balance means. The book starts of with two mice on each end of a seesaw, throughout the book different animals want a turn on the seesaw with the mice, they all try to find a balance that works so they can all enjoy the seesaw until it broke and the mice in the end found how to balnce on the broken seesaw. This book is for preschool to grade level 3.

Teaching the students about balance can include teaching them about having a balance in the classroom when everyone is working together and is doing their job. Discussing with them if there is no balance in the classroom, there can be chaos, no learning and will not help them form relationships in the classroom. Assigning class jobs can keep a balance in the classroom and teach the students in order for the classroom tp run smoothly they have to do their job to keep a balance in their classroom.
Having classroom rules and discussing with the students the importance of follwoing the rules creates a balance in the classroom. Teaching them that balance comes in different forms and classroom rules is one of those forms, to keep everything in order and running smoothly!
