On our third day we took a stop at the well known black sand beaches near Vik. The beach was incredibly beautiful from the darkest sand, crashing waves, mountains jutting out of the water, and interesting salt and rock formations. It was breezy and cool this day as we walked along the beach just taking it all in (and obviously snapping tons of photos). The shape of the rocks and colors of the landscape in general were just beyond. Iceland is truly otherworldly… more pics on my photography…
